Develop knowledge of fitness tests and types of training. Higher ability students will understand their current level of fitness.

Volleyball basic skills developed within practice and game situations. Intermediate skills used to extend higher ability.

Develop basic orienteering skills. Intermediate skills used to extend higher ability.

Develop basic techniques in athletic events. Precision of technique developed for higher ability students.

The Sport Education model is used to develop practical and leadership skills in the following activities: rugby; table tennis; volleyball; handball; football; ultimate frizby; fitness; orienteering; gaelic football; trampolining; and basketball.

 

Year 11 – Girls
