All staff and students work towards developing a growth mindset so that they can tackle problems confidently and learn from failure.
It is important to keep trying things even if we find them difficult and even if we are worried about doing them as this is how we improve.
Through discussion and support students and staff are developing a growth mindset approach to everything they do. We often talk about not being able to do something ‘yet’ but that if we keep trying we know we will get where we need to be.
Growth mindset is an important part of passport to success and graduation. Only students that have really demonstrated a growth mindset and overcome difficulties are able to graduate, this is one of our expectations.
