South Shields School

Passport to Success

All students in Years 7, 8 and 9 take part in Passport to Success. Students must have 96% attendance or above and must make expected or better progress across subjects to graduate.

Students must also demonstrate that they have gained experience in all of our personal development areas such as contributing to society by being involved in debates for example. Contributions are tracked through the vivo scheme and checked during Advisory.

The Graduation Ceremonies take place during July and all parents and carers are invited to watch students graduate at bronze, silver or gold level.

Students wear graduation caps and gowns and are presented with a graduation certificate to mark their achievements.
